Snack box developed to display food in collaboration with MasterChef winner Eric Chong.

Designing a Display with Dry Ice
This project focused on designing a snack box that could present five unique snacks on a single table. The original concept was ambitious, a box that unfolded in five directions with dry ice and lighting effects, but it proved too costly for the client's budget. I pivoted to a more practical and cost-effective solution using full acrylic construction. I had to carefully consider material choice, glue compatibility, and dry ice tolerance to ensure safety and durability. The final design is a sleek, engraved box that opens with the help of a server to reveal five custom platforms for the irregularly shaped snacks. Most of the design work was done in SolidWorks and Illustrator to communicate ideas to the client clearly. I also handled sourcing, contacting manufacturers, and budgeting for production. The project is currently still in progress, to deliver a striking, functional, and cost-conscious presentation piece.
